Guest in this Episode is Angela-Sophia Gebert, Academic Alliance Manager at Celonis. In her role, she promotes research and teaching in the area of Process Mining and Data Science. Angela has a Bachelor in English Studies and Economics from the Ludwig-Maximillian University in Munich, Germany, and received a Masters Degree in Linguistic from the University of Oxford, England.
About Celonis SE: Celonis develops software for Process Mining. In short, Process Mining enables the digital mapping of business processes, which can then be analyzed for hidden process knowledge. Celonis is a relatively young German Company founded in 2011 by three students. It originated in a student project where the founders realized the value of process mining which was beforehand mostly an academic field. In November 2019, Ceolnis was valued at 2,5 billion US-Dollar by the venture capitalist Accel Partners.
